What is FUNDS?+

FUNDS is a stablecoin backed by digital assets held in one public vault. It is designed to hold 1 USD, and you can check what backs it at any time.

How do I get FUNDS?+

Open the FUNDS app, connect your wallet and send collateral token. For every 1 USD worth of collateral tokens you put in, you get 1 FUNDS, minus a … fee. Keep a little in your wallet for network fees. No account needed.

Is 1 FUNDS always worth 1 USD?+

Not necessarily. FUNDS is designed to hold 1 USD, and you can redeem 1 FUNDS for 1 USD worth of collateral tokens while the vault has it. If collateral token falls far enough, the vault may cover only part of a redemption. It pays what it can and sends the rest of your FUNDS back.

Where is the collateral token kept?+

In one shared wallet, the vault, run by the FUNDS operator. Its address is public, so you can check its balance on a blockchain explorer at any time. The app also shows the vault's health live.

What does it cost?+

A … fee on every mint and every redeem, paid to the FUNDS treasury. You see the exact amount before you confirm. The network also charges a small fee, so keep a little in your wallet to cover it.

Can I send FUNDS to someone else?+

Yes. FUNDS sits in your own wallet, so you can send it like any other token. Whoever holds it can redeem it for 1 USD worth of collateral tokens while the vault has it.
